Course Rules
1. Course Boundaries
The course boundaries are marked by white stakes, with the boundary line running between them.
Out of bounds applies in the following areas:
- Hole 3 – right side; the out of bounds area ends behind the road and is marked by two white stakes
- Hole 9 – left side
- Hole 6 – fence on the right side
- Hole 5 – fence behind the green
- Hole 7 – fence on the right side
On Hole 7, if a ball is out of bounds, the player has two options:
- drop on the fairway at the point where the ball crossed the course boundary, no nearer the hole, within two club lengths, with a two-stroke penalty, or
- return to the original spot and replay the shot with a one-stroke penalty.
2. Movable Obstructions
- Stones in bunkers
- Rakes and movable course equipment
3. Immovable Obstructions
Paths, drainage covers, sprinkler heads, distance markers, course information boards, and advertising signs are treated as immovable obstructions.
Players are entitled to free relief within one club length, no nearer the hole.
Boundary stakes and boundary fences are also immovable objects, however no free relief is granted from them.
4. Course Markings
- Red stakes – penalty areas on Holes 1–8
- Yellow stakes – penalty area on the right side of Hole 7
- White stakes – out of bounds
- Ground under repair – marked areas
5. Hole Distances
Hole distances are measured to the front of the green.
Fairway distance markers indicate:
- 50 m – wooden marker
- 100 m – red marker
- 150 m – white marker
-
200 m – blue marker
(distance measured to the centre of the green)
